Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Amara Kaushik's directorial debut Stree was one of the blockbusters of 2018. the horror-comedy was well received even critically. Seeing the massive success of Stree, its sequel was inevitable. Hence, makers announced that they are planning to come up with Stree 2 and the latest reports suggest that Varun Dhawan will be replacing Rajkummar for the lead role.
