Ya Ali fame singer Zubeen Garg threatens to launch agitation against Citizenship Bill

Popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg threatened to launch an agitation by himself if Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal fails to take measures to scrap the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill within seven days. Garg shared an open letter addressing CM Sonowal on social media. Many artistes and singers came out in protest against the Bill during Assam Bandh. Zubeen Garg shot to fame with song Ya Ali from 2006 movie Gangster starring Kangana Ranaut and Emraan Hashmi.
