Satyameva Jayate Box Office Collection Day 5: John Abraham film mints Rs 10.26 crore, crosses 50 crore mark

John Abraham’s cop drama Satyameva Jayate is standing at par with Akshay Kumar’s Gold. Despite a clash with a film that boasted of stellar star cast including the superstar Kumar himself, Satyameva Jayate managed to bring some good numbers to its kitty. Released on Independence Day, the crime-thriller film made most of the national holiday, however, the numbers plummeted to great extent on day 2. That’s the drawback of a weekday release. Being a working Thursday, the cinema halls saw vacant seats for both Gold and Satyameva Jayate.
