DMK Chief and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi breathed his last on Tuesday. The great politician and artist lived a glorious life and forayed into a number of fields. Other than being a strong politician, he was a screenwriter and his contribution to Indian cinema remains unparalleled and exceptional. He is an author of a number of books, including Romapuri Pandian, Thirukkural Urai, Thanpandi Singam, Vellikizhamai and Ponnar Shankar among others.
